The space

The house is perfect for either a family holiday or a couple wanting to get away from it all. It is fully self contained with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , and a large air-conditioned living area complete with a luxury kitchen with marble benchtops, a dining area  and a lounge area with 2 sofas and tv, leading through to a large terrace with uninterrupted view to the capital of Kythira,Chora

Bedrooms

The main bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobes, an en-suite, . The other bedrooms have either double or twin beds, and built in wardrobes.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen is complete with everything you need for your holiday, including an oven, a stovetop, a microwave, pots and pans, and all utensils. Perfect for creating a mezes for 2, or a full Greek feast from local products for the whole family.

Terrace

The large terrace is set up for al-fresco dining with an extra large table and chairs, but is also the perfect place to relax with a book,

    This place is a wild paradise. It feels like one of the last places on earth you can be truly amongst nature and forget the outside world. set amongst olive... read more groves and grape vines, this sanctuary home is elegant, pristine, serene and at one with its natural surroundings. The beach- just a 2 minute drive away- is the best on the island, wild and beautiful and we had it all to ourselves on a daily basis. George is the most gracious, fun, considerate and wonderful host, giving us all the local information and recommendations. He is a pleasure and a true gentleman. I hope we meet again! We never wanted to leave this unique and special place. The stars at night from here make you feel like you are part of the galaxy itself. I couldn’t recommend George or his house, more highly.   The drive there takes you through the hills,... read more so it is beautifully secluded and the view is spectacular. Don’t worry about getting there: Georgios guides you there the first time.
  
  The house is very functional, everything needed is provided (stove, oven, fridge, freezer). Since there’s no air conditioning, there’s two large fans. We were there during summer, and the temperature was fine with the fans. But I guess that’s a bit personal too.
  Also, there’s mosquito nets on every door and window, so the place gets free from mosquitos, flies and (of course) the island bees.
  
  Georgios was a great help when we had questions. He was easily available and always ready to help.
  
  All in all, we had one of the best experiences we’ve had with Airbnb so far. If you love being secluded, with only nature surrounding you: this is it!

    Off Grid Living: ένα υπέροχο μέρος που φιλοξένησε την οικογένεια μας αρχές Μάϊου. Ένα σπιτάκι άνετο ακόμα και για 4μελή οικογένεια, τα διπλά κρεβάτια απολαυστικά και αφράτα, η κουζίνα εξοπλισμένη, μεγάλο ξύλινο τραπέζι (μέσα) με την καλύτερη θέα για τις μέρες με αέρα. Το μπάνιο αν και βρίσκεται εξωτερικά, είναι τόσο ταιριαστό με το concept του σπιτιού, άνετο και πεντακάθαρο. Ωραίος κήπος και παντού γωνιές για ηρεμία και σύνδεση με την φύση γύρω. Μονοπάτια για βόλτες στην θάλασσα αλλά και στο μοναστήρι της Μυρτιδιώτισσας. Ωραία η αίσθηση της αυτοσυντήρησης και ανεξαρτησίας καθώς το ρεύμα προέρχεται από φωτοβολταϊκά και το νερό από δεξαμενή. Ο Γιώργος φιλικός, εξυπηρετικός και άνετος στην επικοινωνία. Ένα σπίτι που σε κρατάει εκεί, σαν να μη θες να χάσεις ούτε ένα ηλιοβασίλεμα. Ακόμα το αναπολούμε.....
